El Fogon - Authentic Mexican Cuisine
El Fogon is a favorite local hot spot with late-night tacos in a super casual and humble atmosphere.
From 1:00 Pm until the late hours of the night, this restaurant is always packed. Stop for some authentic Mexican cuisine, a crisp, refreshing beer or a margarita with a kick. Great value for your money, quick and tasty. You will probably go back more than once.

Don Chendos - Chicago Style Pizza & Pasta
Owned by an expat Newyorker, Russel, this is probably the best deep dish pizza in all of Playa. Generation old recipes, fused with a Chicago flare and a little New York attitude make this place a perfect stop if you're craving Italian.
If you're not in the mood for pizza, dive into their famous homemade pasta and meatballs, the sauce is to die for! There are also gluten-free pasta options and newly on their menu, gluten-free pizza.
Ingredients are always fresh, hand selected by the Owner and Chef, including freshly grown herbs and spices from their garden.

Lido's - Beach Club & Restuarant
If you're getting a little antsy from the quiet of Xaman Ha and looking for a bit of action, Lido Beach Club is the place to be and is just a short flip-flop walk away.
With good eats, drinks and great people, you can pull up a sunbed, rest in the shade, swing on the bar swings and enjoy the music with front seats to the Caribbean Sea.

Imprevist - Breakfast
This cozy little restaurant has just a few outdoor tables, located on a quaint street, just off of Fith Avenue.
Their international or Mexican breakfast is a good deal and includes, a great cup of java, a choice of freshly squeezed juice, yogurt with Yucatan honey, granola and seasonal fruit, sweet pastries, and muffins with homemade marmalade and your choice of mains.
Seats are limited, so get there early.

Tiny Tiki Hut - Mexican, Asian, Japanese Fusion
This Tiny Tiki Hut is gaining popularity for their friendly service, great prices, and top-notch food. The menu is simple, yet thoughtful.
The owner Juan and staff go out of their way to make you feel at home and appreciated. They make everything to order, which is incredible for those with dietary restrictions. They are the Tiki Hut of "Yes" and they do what they can to accommodate you. Serving favorites like ramen, street tacos with a Korean twist, and Korean fried chicken. It's definitely worth the visit.

Oh La La - International Cuisine
Owned by a beautiful couple, George and Mikaela, this nine-table International Cusine restaurant is defiantly a treat.
It's one of the more expensive restaurants in Playa, but worth it. The staff treat you like old friends and will bend over backward to make sure your experience is unique and memorable. You will need a reservation for this tiny gem.
